I recommend scheduling your session around the same time you schedule your maternity session. Your newborn session should take place 1-3 weeks after birth. Babies are still super sleepy and snuggly, making for those sweet, cozy moments.

Soft, neutral tones and comfy, natural fabrics photograph beautifully. Think cozy sweaters, flowy dresses, and simple onesies for the baby. Avoid bold patterns and logos to keep the focus on the connection between your family. I have a client closet and a style guide that will be sent once booking is confirmed.

If the weather isn’t ideal, we can either reschedule or find a creative way to make it work (think umbrellas, romantic movie vibe). I’ll keep an eye on the forecast and check in with you ahead of time.

I have a few favorite outdoor locations that are absolutely beautiful, but I’m open to suggestions if you have a spot that’s meaningful to you and your partner! In-home, downtown, a big open field, your favorite overlook or the beach are all great spots! We can talk about locations to make this session feel like you!

I recommend booking as soon as you have your date and venue secured! Popular dates fill up quickly, so 9-12 months in advance is ideal.

Absolutely! I love capturing weddings in new and beautiful locations. Travel fees may apply depending on the distance, so let’s chat about the details.

Yes! I’ll work with you (and your planner if you have one) to create a photography timeline that ensures we capture all the important moments while keeping things stress-free.

Some of my packages include a second shooter. If you choose a package that does not have a second shooter we can absolutely add one. You do not have to have a second shooter.

No worries! I’m experienced in working with all kinds of weather. If rain is in the forecast, I’ll come prepared with backup plans and creative ways to still capture stunning images.
